Breadbox update

it just now dawned on me that if I wait for something meaningful to write, then nothing will ever get written. Hence that fact that nothing ever gets written here.

I did make a PC out of an antique breadbox. I’ve always had a fondness for retro casemods.

Also, as a sidenote, if you ever have to switch around hard drives on a Win2k or XP machine that results in changing the bootable drive’s letter, you may need to “fdisk /mbr” at the end. I was getting a strange looping problem when I tried to login. It then went into another loop saying that you must increase the size of the pagefile before you can edit the size of the pagefile. fdisk /mbr set everything straight.

Back and (hopefully) spamproof

72 hours later and I’ve reconstructed the disorganized heap that was jaided.com. I moved to WordPress because you can restrict comments to registered users. -=(feel free to register)=- It aggrivates me to no end that this is such a rare feature, but I’ll rant on that later. The spamming had been getting worse for the last few months so something had to be done.
I also upgraded the photo gallery and moved it to a new location. If you had it bookmarked you’ll have to update that. All the accounts should still be intact. I hope that doesn’t cause too many problems and I promise I won’t move it again. On the upside, the gallery should be faster and have a few new functions.
